Kubacki is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Lake City Bank and its holding company, Lakeland Financial Corporation. Lake City Bank is a $2.9 billion bank headquartered in Warsaw, with banking offices throughout northern and central Indiana. Mr. Kubacki joined the company in 1998 after a 25-year career with Northern Trust Corporation, serving in its offices in Chicago and Los Angeles. He grew up in Pierceton, Indiana, and is a 1969 graduate of Pierceton High School. Mr. Kubacki received his B.S. degree in Business from Indiana University in 1973, and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago in 1976. Mr. Kubacki has been active in a number of organizations throughout his business career, having served on the boards of the Indiana Bankers Association, the Northeast Indiana Corporate Council (past Chairman), and the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago (past Chairman of the Audit Committee). He is currently involved on the boards of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce (where he was past Chairman), Regional Chamber of Northeast Indiana, Elkhart County Community Foundation, IUSB School of Business Advisory, LaCasa Business Advisory, Centerfield Capital Partners Advisory, the Indiana chapter of The Nature Conservancy, and the Indiana Society of Chicago. Lake City Bank was named as one of the Best Places to Work in Indiana in 2007. In addition, Mr. Kubacki was cited by the Greater Fort Wayne Business Weekly as its Best Value CEO for 2008. The bank also received this award in 2006, after finishing second in the rankings for both 2004 and 2005. In 2011, Mr. Kubacki was named Community Banker of the Year by American Banker. Mr. Kubacki lives in Syracuse with Rebecca, his wife of 38 years. He has two children and two grandchildren. ![]() Presenter - David M. Findlay, President & CFO David M. Findlay currently serves as President of Lakeland Financial Corporation, the parent company of Lake City Bank, headquartered in Warsaw, Indiana. In this capacity, Findlay oversees Finance and Accounting, Treasury, Risk Management, Legal, Human Resources, Operations, Technology Services, Loan Review and Corporate and Institutional Services, which includes Treasury Management, Merchant Services and Retirement Services. He also serves a member of the Board of Directors of both the Bank and the Holding Company. Lakeland Financial Corporation is a publicly traded (Nasdaq Global Select/LKFN) bank holding company with total assets of $2.7 billion and 43 offices located throughout Northern Indiana, with a Loan Production Office in Indianapolis. From September 2000 to September 2010, he served as Executive Vice President of Administration, and Chief Financial Officer of the Company. From March 1995 to September 2000, Mr. Findlay served in various capacities with Quality Dining, Inc., a publicly traded company located in South Bend, Indiana, concluding as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Findlay began his career with The Northern Trust Company in Chicago, Illinois, serving in several capacities from September 1984 until March 1995, when he was a Vice President. His service at Northern focused primarily in the Commercial Lending Group as a relationship manager in the Correspondent Banking and Corporate and Institutional Services Groups. He also served in the Capital Markets Group of Northern Trust developing and marketing interest rate derivative products. |
