Zimmer Holdings, Inc. (Zimmer) designs, develops, manufactures and markets orthopaedic reconstructive, spinal and trauma devices, biologics, dental implants and related surgical products. The Company’s customers include orthopaedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, oral surgeons, dentists, hospitals, stocking distributors, healthcare dealers and, in their capacity as agents, healthcare purchasing organizations or buying groups. It manages its operations through three geographic segments: the Americas, which is consisted of the United States and includes other North, Central and South American markets; Europe, which is consisted of Europe and includes the Middle East and Africa markets, and Asia Pacific, which is consisted of Japan and Australia and includes other Asian and Pacific markets. In November 2011, the Company acquired ExtraOrtho, Inc. (ExtraOrtho). In January 2012, the Company acquired Reno, Nevada-based Synvasive Technology, Inc.

Presenter - Robert Marshall, Vice President - Investor Relations & Corporate Treasurer

Robert J. Marshall, Jr. was appointed Vice President, Investor Relations and Corporate Treasurer in March, 2011.  He is responsible for global treasury activities inclusive of debt and liquidity management, foreign exchange and interest rate risk management, credit rating agency and bank relationships.  Additionally, he is responsible for the Investor Relations function including strategy and interaction with the investment community.  

Bob joined Zimmer in 2002 as the Associate Director, International Treasury.  He was later promoted to Director, Treasury in November of 2004 to Vice President, Treasury in April, 2007 and then to Vice President and Corporate Treasurer in October, 2009.  Prior to Zimmer, Bob was employed with Brown & Williamson Tobacco in Louisville, Kentucky where he held several positions of increasing responsibility including Senior Financial Analyst, Manager, International Budgets and Forecasting, and Assistant Treasurer - America Pacific & Latin American Regions. 

Bob holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Business Administration degree from Indiana University, South Bend.  Bob also holds the CFA designation.
